The Friends are the community’s voice for the Museum and its Collection. We represent local people in discussions with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and with local politicians, helping to shape plans and strategies that protect the Museum’s future. And we are a registered charity too!
Our influence depends on our membership. The more Friends we have, the stronger and more effective that voice becomes.
The Friends have a proven record of success. We campaigned for the creation of the Museum and for its reopening after the COVID pandemic. Today, the Museum faces its toughest challenge yet. Community support is once again essential if our local history is to be preserved for future generations.
By becoming a Friend, you can help us make a difference.
