New Threat to the Museum

We have been advised that the Museum (and the Tourist Information Centre) are under threat of closure. Councillors for RBWM have confirmed that the way the museum operates is ‘nolonger viable’ due to budget constraints. Details are still being saught but there is a significant budget short fall for 2024/25 that has recently come to light.

Members of the Friends are engaging with other local societies, the Museum staff and the local counciil to understand better what this really means.
