Update on the Museum Accreditation

The Arts Council considered our application to renew Museum Accreditation at their panel meeting in January. They felt that overall, we had provided a good application meeting most of the requirements of Accreditation, with clear priorities outlined. They recognised that we have plans to increase self-generated income.

Unusually, the panel couldn’t come to a decision at this stage due to the uncertain nature of the budget for 2024-25. Once we have more clarity internally, we will share more information with the Arts Council to get our award renewed.
