In 1951, the visionary local, Maitland Underhill (right), brought Windsor’s rich history to life with a captivating exhibition, launched in honor of the National Festival of Britain. The exhibition’s allure was undeniable, enchanting visitors for over three decades at the Guildhall until 1982. In 2011, the museum was given a regal revival, as Her Majesty the Queen herself graced the Guildhall to reopen its doors.
